A day out in Wellington

Start your day off in style with breakfast at Pre-Fab - an iconic gorgeous wellington café that gives you a taste of the lovely cuisine that Wellington has to offer. Or, for a simple brekkie head to Wholly Bagel!

Next, hire a Croc Bike and get an insane smoothie/shake. Croc Bikes are human-powered and you can ride them all around the water front, exploring the gorgeous sea line and views of the Wellington Harbour. It's a must-do because you just can’t beat Welly on a good day.?

After a bit of physical exercise, it’s nice to have a wind down and have a look at Te Papa. With some world recognised exhibits, it’s definitely an eye-opener for all. With just a gold coin donation, you can spend as much or as little time here as you desire before you need a little refuel.?

You’ve probably worked up an appetite looking at what Te Papa has to offer, so it's time to head to Maranui Café for another gorgeous view of the harbour and a great spot to watch the planes taking off and landing. It's the perfect place for some tasty locally-sourced food too. Looking for another something sweet? The Wellington Chocolate Factory is the place to go!

Now once you’ve got a bit more energy packed into you, it’s time for a the Sinclair Heads seal colony walk, it’s an hour and a half return but the seals are worth it. They're often found just meters from the walking track and are a sight to see. On a good day you can even see the South Island and snow.

After an eventful day, it’s good to have a wind down by grabbing a drink at Dirty Little Secret, with almost 360 degree view of Wellington city.?

Lastly your dining options are abundant, from Logan Brown to Charley Noble if you’re after a meal to remember. Or anywhere on Cuba Street if you’re after something a bit simpler!?
