Best eateries across the country

What a hard pick as we are lucky to have such amazing food in New Zealand. They're appealing to the tummy, tastebuds and of course your camera roll! Let's get that ‘gram popping with mouth-watering dishes.

1. Dear Jervious, Ponsonby, Auckland

Enjoy the bohemian setting in Auckland’s most iconic brunch spot, where the meals are almost too pretty to eat! However, once you get your pics (we all know that person who holds the whole table up… But you gotta do it for the 'gram) your mouth will be watering and I promise you it’s as tasty as it looks. All round 10/10.

2. Pipi’s Pizza, Hawkes Bay

Pretty in pink? PINK EVERYTHING. It's my favourite place where you feel like a princess! Boys, don’t let the pink put you off, as the food is absolutely stunning; it's home to the best hand-made wood fire pizza, but save room for the calamari or dessert! Bonus: Keep updated on their social for locations of their pink Pipi Pizza Truck, or even better hire it for your own event!

3. The Library, Wellington

Don’t let the name put you of (or maybe it's a good way to pretend you're going to study?). Upstairs in this hidden little gem is a cozy interior, which is perfect for date night. With books everywhere and the mood lighting on point, be sure to order their creative, ascetically-pleasing cocktails that are shaken with love. This 'gram doesn't have to break the bank as they have two-for-one cocktails on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and two-for-one desserts on Tuesdays.

4. Elephant Hill Winery, Hawkes Bay

I mean, a glass of wine in hand at a winery not Insta-worthy? Elephant Hill is a modern vineyard located right on the water with views of Cape Kidnappers. If you have a little bit of extra cash or a special date then I recommend dinner. However, if you're on a budget, grab a few bikes and enjoy cheap wine tastings and lovely platters.

Bonus: Make your followers jealous and make a day of it by biking to other highly-rated wineries nearby such as Beach House and Clearview Estate Winery

5. Fat Badgers Pizza, Queenstown

Pizza the size of your dreams! If you know me, you'd know I can eat my weight in pizza. There is something about the sauces and wood fire goodness that makes this spot so special! They also have great deals and giant vessels of beer... what more could you want?

6. Ponsonby Central

With so many amazing choices, Bird on a WireBurger Burger, Dantes Pizza, Crêpes A Go Go... your camera roll will be as full as your tummy after exploring this little spot, which is perfect for all budgets.

7. Fidel’s Cafe, Wellington

Fidel's Cafe has super Insta-worthy DELICIOUS food, with inside and outside dining and a very relaxed Havana atmosphere. If you don’t have a pic at Fidel’s, then you aren’t from Wellington.

8. Tommy Million’s Pizza, Wellington

Wellington’s must-stop! Watch the chefs at work as they toss fresh dough - Tommy’s is a classic New York pizza in New Zealand. On a budget? Enjoy two-for-one margarita slices or whole pizzas from Monday to Friday (11am-4pm) and two whole pizzas for $40 from Sundays to Thursdays (after 4pm).

Warning: Your eyes may be bigger than your stomach, so I would definitely recommend sharing!

9. Running Duck, Geraldine, Canterbury

Every single wall in this cute little South Island stop screams "take my photo!". Old school, rustic and funky decor with great coffee and delish food. It's all about that cozy and relaxing vibe with amazing Southern Hospitality.

10. DIY

Feeling a little broke but still want to have an Insta-worthy feed that will have your followers drooling? Be your own master chef; it’s crazy what you can whip up in the kitchen with a little inspiration. Personally Italian is my go-to as you can’t go wrong with some homemade pesto and pasta, or pizza!

I need to stop talking about food before I get hangry, so I hope this has inspired you to get out and take a few snaps and to eat some beautiful-looking food!
